Biography>

Juan Sánchez, known as "Loon Attic" started as an acoustic duo in Malaga in 1998 along with David Soto.

 

The first contest Loon Attic won was the FESTIVAL DEL SOL (PRIMAVERA 2000) where he played with well known spanish artists and he recorded his first studio album "TAKE OVER THE ASYLUM" (2003).

 

In 2005 he flew to London where the spanish version of his first album was recorded: "ASALTO A LA LOCURA" (2005)

 

Juan came back to Spain to record "CIRCUS" (2009), this time again with David Soto, his second studio album.

 

In 2011 Loon Attic releases "ESPACIO SIDERAL" as a solo artist where he shares some of the songs with some indie music artists of his favourites.

 

From this last album the song "DONCELLA" is selected for the XXXVI FESTIVAL DE LA CANCIÓN DE ANDALUCÍA contest, this unfinished contest never was ended due to the spanish economical crisis.

 

in 2012 his song "IGUAL DE DIFERENTES" was selected as the anthem of the Gay pride in Seville, a song where Loon Attic defends the rights equallity for everybody in the  world.

 

The Irish film director, George Clarke, chooses his song "OTRA VEZ" for his film "SPLASH AREA" on the same year.

 

His new album, "HÁBITAT", is recorded thanks to the support of  his followers in a crowfunding project and produced by the multiplatinum Andy Whitmore in Greystoke Studios (London).
